  • Cranberries’ tannins ward off urinary infections.
  • Red antioxidant pigments retard the oxidation of bad cholesterol and they also reduce platelet clumping—preventing heart attacks.
  • Cranberries contain a cancer-fighting compound called ellagic acid.
